Eiko first worked with David Brick during the Platform 2016. Subsequently David asked Eiko to be "an agitator" for his ambitious Quiet Circus Project. In the context of Eiko's Duet Project, David acted first as a Philadelphia dramaturg then a duet partner at the event Remembering Sam at Wesleyan University in 2019.
