Talking Duet with Okwui Okpokwasili (2016)

As part of Lower Manhattan Cultural Council's 2016 River To River Festival Open Studio, Eiko performed Talking Duet with Okwui Okpokwasili. During the 2015 River To River Festival, Eiko had her first Talking Duet with Emmanuelle Huynh. During 2016 Danspace Project's Platform A Body in Places, Talking Duet was expanded to include another six choreographers in addition to Emmanuelle and Eiko. This time, Okwui and Eiko's duet was centered around the theme of water, which united all programs Eiko offered in the 2016 R2R Festival.
