Ishmael Houston-Jones

Eiko and Ishmael Houston-Jones first created a duet together during her Talking Duet series within her Platform at Danspace Project in 2016. They began working again in May 2019 in New York and performed together at PICA's TBA Festival in 2019 and at Columbia College Chicago and NYU Skirball in 2022. Ishmael Houston-Jones is a choreographer, author, performer, teacher, and curator whose improvised dance and text work has been performed world-wide.
