C.D. Wright
Poet C.D. Wright joined Eiko with her husband Forrest Gander to offer her reading and see Eiko's performances and an exhibition in Santiago, Chile in 2016. C.D. passed away after she returned home from that trip. At the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in November 2018 and again at PICA in September 2019, Eiko performed with a video of C.D.'s last reading and large-size prints of photos taken in Santiago. At the latter, young poet Iris McCloughan recited her poem along with her recording.
