Alexis Moh
Alexis Moh is a filmmaker and multimedia artist whose work is significantly informed by the impending/unfolding Anthropocene extinction. They have worked with Eiko in dance film since 2015. Their video collaborations have screened at Danspace Project, Dance for Camera Film Festival, Anthology Film Archives, and River To River Festival.
Alexis is deeply concerned with and often engaged in environmental causes traveling on her own to the places of conflicts. She brought her opinions and questions in her performing with Eiko at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in November 2017, Temple University in March 2019, and American Dance Festival in July 2019. Alexis travelled with Eiko and Marjorie Hunt to California as a cinematographer and created much video material from which Eiko later created video installations.
